Join this free webinar from the Historical Association to learn about the work of two Holocaust Education charities, Generation 2 Generation (G2G) and Northern Holocaust Education Group (NHEG), which provide accredited speakers to schools and other organisations across the UK throughout the year. The webinar will take place online at 4pm on 9 January 2025 and is aimed principally at teachers of Years 6 to 13, though anyone with a general interest in these histories is welcome.
G2G and NHEG speakers share their own families’ Holocaust/Nazi persecution stories and experiences using eyewitness testimony. In this webinar, you will gain an understanding of resources to support teaching of Holocaust/Nazi persecution available through G2G and NHEG. These resources will support you to:
- Gain a better understanding for your students and staff of the Holocaust/Nazi persecution
- Make sense of what actually happened to individuals
- Address hatred, discrimination and persecution
