We are going to get the Scouts to look at the booklets, watch a couple of the online videos to explain what the Memorial Day is about.
We will give them time to discuss what they know and reflect on what they know and have seen or read about.
We will get them to work on a display that will be put up in our HQ for the other sections to look at (Cubs are doing an activity about the Holocaust on their meeting night).
At the end of the evening we will have a a minute or two of silence for remembrance .
During the evening we will light a candle that will burn throughout the meeting as a visual reminder of what we are thinking about.
