The Edinburgh Interfaith Association (EIFA) shall coordinate the official City of Edinburgh Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration at Edinburgh City Chambers on 27 Janury 2025. The event is private and shall invlude 80 local high school students as guests / witnesses. The speakers shall include a survivor of the Campbodian genocide, the Director of Education for the Auschwitz - Birkenau memorial, and a leader of the Edinburgh University Jewish Students on Campus organisation. The commemoration will conclude with the laying of wreaths at the City of Edinburgh War Memorial. The wreaths will be layed by Professor Joe Goldblatt, Co - Chair of EIFA and the Consul of the Federal Repoublic of Germany Ediburgh office.
