Today, we held a Holocaust Memorial Service at Harwich Quay where in place is a statue dedicated to the Kindergarten Transport This is a focal point for Harwich's Holocaust Memorial Day events. As in previous years, Harwich Town Council acted as facilitators to ensure the Jewish community marked the anniversary in a fitting manner. Local schools also attended to pay their respects.

The high lighthouse in Harwich will be illuminated this evening in purple to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day
