This will be my 24th year in organising HMD events ( & I have been teaching & raising awareness of it as far back as the 1980ties well before the Govt/HMD started National Memorial Days).This being the 80tieth Anniversary & 30tieth Anniversary of Bosnia required something extra special. for 2years as I wanted to make the 80tieth Anniversary Event an extra memorable commemoration. The usual HMD ceremonies I planned for Wigan & Leigh Town Hall had a SURVIVOR TESTAMENT from the son of EVA NUEMANN (Bobby`s Story) His Mum will be 96 on March 8th,2025. We also had on display our borough`s WHITE Rose Candleholder plus one of our schools - Upholland High School was one of HMD`s TOP TEN Bosnia Memorial Winners so we had this on display also along with Zara Trencher`s Account of her winning the Sophie Scholl Award from a competition held by a local College.
The Exhibition takes it`s name from me creating a GREEN MEMORIAL garden in Wigan for 2024/205. I did this using HMD`s collaborative resource with RHS. The childre
