In partnership with the Miners' Welfare Hall, Ystradgynlais, Powys, where Josef spent every day reading the news of what was happening in Europe during the War, the Josef Herman Art Foundation Cymru is showing, 'A Real Pain'. The film shows how two grandchildren of a Holocaust survivor make their way from America to Poland to revisit her experiences of what she went through before and during the War.
We will have poetry readings before the film, chosen from the HMD site and a Q/A after the film.
Trustees of the Foundation will conduct the evening's activities.
