The event will be held on Sunday 25th January 2026 at 2pm finishing approx 3.30pm.
It will be held in the Quadrangle at Middlesex University.
The ceremony will include a diverse audience with many young people included. There will be candle lighting, speakers including holocaust survivor stories, The Mayor of Barnet, the Vice Chancellor of Middlesex University, the Leader of the Council. The Holocaust Educational Trust have arranged for young people from Barnet, who have visited Auschwitz to speak of their experience. They will also read the Barnet Statement of Commitment There will be musical performances by the Barnet Band and three choirs.
The ceremony will also include the Memorial prayer, the Kaddish and final benediction.
There will be an exhibition on display from Yad Vashem and school children will have written poems on display and snowdrop bulbs will be handed out at the door from school children.
