The Medway Holocaust Memorial Day Event will take place at Cliffe Woods Primary School on Tuesday 28 January 2025 from 6pm, with refreshments from 5:30pm
The event includes presentations and payers by students from local schools and Medway Youth Council, together with Kent Police, MIFA and the synagogue.
The event will relate to this year's theme, "For a Better Future"
In 2015, Medway’s organising committee was presented with one of 70 commemorative candles by the HMD Trust, which is lit every five year and will be lit again at Cliffe Woods Primary School, to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau,
