Exclusive screening of 'THE COMMANDANT'S SHADOW' + live in-person interview with one of the stars of the film, Maya Lasker-Wallfisch.
In this critically acclaimed documentary feature, from Warner Brothers and HBO Max, the legendary 99-year old Auschwitz survivor Anita Lasker-Wallfisch and her daughter Maya Lasker-Wallfisch meet the son and grandson of the notorious Auschwitz Commandant Rudolf Höss.
It is a historic moment with profound implications about inherited trauma, forgiveness and reconciliation.
Following the screening, Maya Lasker-Wallfisch will be discussing these themes in conversation, live and in person, with National Holocaust Museum Director Marc Cave.
