On 27th January, from 9.00am to 10.00am, the children in Class 6 held a very moving and thought-provoking assembly for their parents and carers to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
It was a difficult way to start a Monday morning, but the level of understanding and compassion the children showed was outstanding. They understand that it is essential that they learn about atrocities in the past with the aim that they can be prevented from happening again in the future.
This year's theme is 'For a better future' and seeing how affected these children were by what they have learnt gives us all hope that there is a better and fairer future for all.
