St Peter’s Church in Sheringham will be holding a special service to mark Holocaust Memorial Day on the 27th of January at 7pm.

The service will consist of a survivors story, prayers from both the Church of England and the Council for Christians and Jews, a short piece of scripture from both the Christian and Jewish tradition and poetry written by victims of the Holocaust and Nazi Persecution.

The service will offer the chance to light candles in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, Nazi Persecution and all those affected by genocide and hatred.

All are welcome at St Peter’s Church, which is part of the Church of England and a member of the Inclusive Churches Network.

The church is accessible, without steps into the main building. The service will be displayed on a projector screen in English.
