The Chair of Surrey County Council has great pleasure in inviting you to Surrey County Council's Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony. Join the Chair and guest speakers for a ceremony and exhibition to honour the memory of the Holocaust victims. This year's theme, "For a Better Future," encourages us to learn from the past and consider what we can do to create a better future. The theme focuses on bringing people together to reflect, speak up against Holocaust and genocide denial and distortion, challenge prejudice, and encourage others to learn about the Holocaust and recent genocides. We look forward to welcoming everyone and learning how we can build a better world together.
