Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We would like to cordially invite you to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2025 with us. 80 years have now passed since the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp, which gives additional meaning to the important work of keeping the memory alive as there are fewer and fewer witnesses who are still able to talk about their own experiences.
We are therefore incredibly touched to be able to spend time with one of the most well-known and revered survivors of the Holocaust atrocities, Mala Tribich MBE. She was born in 1930 in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland, as Mala Helfgott. When the first ghetto was established in 1939, the entire Jewish population of the town was immediately at the mercy of German henchmen. By the age of nine Mala had lost many family members under the most terrible circumstances. She barely survived the inhumane conditions in the Ravensbrück and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps and was liberated on 11th April 1945 at the age of fifteen, completely exhausted and ill.
