On 27th January will be holding a 'drop down day' when lessons will be linked to an aspect of the Holocaust or other genocides. Students will have the opportunity to hear a survivors testimony, take part in a workshop to create a whole school version of the Holocaust Memorial Day flame and consider how we should remember the Holocaust and other genocides, and preserve the stories of the victims.
At 4.15pm we will hold a memorial service in our school chapel. Students, staff, parents and members of our wider school community we will be invited to attend.
At 5pm we will take part in 'Light the Darkness' when we will light our Bud and Blossom memorial garden purple and light 80 battery operated candles, for 80 years.
