Hidden: Children of the Holocaust – A musical memorial

Composed by Roland Perrin, a jazz and world music composer/pianist and senior lecturer at the London College of Contemporary Music, the musical performance Hidden: Children of the Holocaust is built around interviews with Jewish survivors of the Holocaust conducted in December 2017 in North London. A five-piece ensemble will perform original musical interspersed with these powerful oral history accounts. The musical interludes offer the audience time to pause and reflect.

This exceptional and innovative musical composition is both a piece of social history and a celebration of survival.

Hidden: Children of the Holocaust was commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich with the indispensable assistance of Global Fusion Music and Arts.
