In the lead up to HMD 2025, on the 24th January 2025, we are inviting pupils across West Gwent (Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly and Torfaen) to attend a live webinar to hear the testimony of Eva Clarke. Eva Clarke, who has a personal connection to the atrocities of Nazi persecution, will share her story with us and will provide her insights on the historical background of the Holocaust, the impact the Holocaust still has on modern society and the lessons we can learn from history. Following Eva Clarke’s key note speech, there will be an opportunity for schools/pupils to ask Eva questions. This webinar is suitable for year 9 pupils and above.
