Events
On Holocaust Memorial Day 2010 thousands of people across the UK came together and pledged to become part of The Legacy of Hope. Events ranged from film showings in Orkney to musical performances in Exeter and school lessons in Tenby to large civic events in Belfast. The hundreds of organisers across the country include local councils, Faith and Inter Faith groups, schools, libraries and Race Equality Councils.
HMD events are often open to the public, and these are listed on the Trust’s website. We recommend contacting the organisers directly to confirm details of these commemorations.
