We are pleased to announce that our film and microsite to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2016 are now live. In this year's short film, survivor of the Holocaust Susan Pollack shares a unique story of surviving genocide.
If you find our HMD 2016 film as powerful as we do, you can take part in an online action to share this unique story of genocide. Signing up to our Thunderclap through the microsite allows a message to be posted on your behalf on your Twitter or Facebook account. We hope thousands of people will join us and at 1pm on 27 January the same message will be shared across social media. This is an opportunity to come together on HMD 2016 and send a loud message to the world that despite the unprecedented horrors of the Holocaust 71 years ago, millions of people are still facing persecution and genocide today.
Sharing the link to our Don't stand by microsite and film is also a great way of marking HMD 2016, whether you are an individual or an organisation. If you use social media make sure you include the hashtag #HMD2016 to link in with others posting about the day, as well as our social media accounts - Twitter: @HMD_UK and facebook.com/HMD.UK
