Every 20 March is World Storytelling Day, a chance for everyone to celebrate the art of storytelling.  We each tell a story every day in the ways we act, what we believe and how we speak and we challenge everyone to play their part in ensuring the stories that will be told about our communities are ones of safety and celebration of our diversity.

Survivors of the Holocaust, Nazi persecution and subsequent genocides have shared their life stories with us for all sorts of reasons, including coming to terms with what has happened to them, to help them rebuild their lives, or so that the crimes of the past are neither forgotten nor repeated.

On World Storytelling Day, we ask you to share a story from the past with those around you to create a safer, better future.
