In Holland Stands a House is a play by former teacher Sue Saunders and follows the famous story of Anne Frank in which she went into hiding with her family during the Nazi occupation of Holland.
The play is very simply staged, has an expandable cast of 15 to 60 depending upon the size of the chorus, and has full lesson notes and suggestions for activities. It is published by Collins Educational and although it is out of print, you should be able to find copies by Googling the play's name. If you are struggling to find it, get in touch with Sue via email.
You can also contact her to advise with your production of the play as she would be delighted to help. She is also willing to waive production fees.
