Watching or showing a film can be an ideal way to explore HMD.

We’ve produced film reviews with guidance and advice. Please also take note of the Certificate awarded to the film, as many of the films cannot be shown to young people. Please ensure that you watch any film you plan to show at your events in advance.

If you are interested in organising a HMD event to show one of these films, you must obtain permission from the copyright owner. For more information on how to do this contact the Motion Picture Licensing Corporation or Filmbank.

Alternatively you can show one of the short films of genocide survivors which we provide on our website, or show the annual film for HMD.
