Our commemoration will take place in the Council Chamber of Chelmsford City Council. Dignitaries will be present including The Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, the Mayor, the High Sheriff, the Chair of Essex County Council. It consists of readings, music, prayers and candle lighting. The principal speaker is Lu Lawrence, daughter of survivor Zigi Shipper. Other readers will be an HET Ambassador and students from local schools and a couple of the dignitaries. As chairman I (Stan Keller) will act as host and deliver the final speech. The event is from 7.30 pm till 9.45pm Thursday 29th January.
