We will hold assemblies for all year groups in the week before HMD. These will be taken by a History specialist and sixth formers who visited Auschwitz. The following week we will have a memorial in the school entrance hall. The memorial will include information boards, and an opportunity for students to lay a stone on the memorial in remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust and other genocides. The display will include a list of real people who died in the holocaust and basic information about them, students and teachers will be encouraged to choose a name to lay their stone in remembrance of, thus 'bridging generation' by personalising remembrance.
