Two of our students' grandfather took place in the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 (Mieczysław Juszczakiewicz, age 99). For their A Level History coursework, they are writing about the reasons for the failure of the uprising, and has included personal interviews he has conducted with his grandfather. Parts of his grandfather's story were shared in our Holocaust assembly, including images of his identity card.

We also encouraged students to read and share stories regarding the Holocaust.
