There will be a tribute to the memory of Holocaust victims, it was 80 years ago ….the death camps were liberated .
The blood stained legacy of the German nation and the murderous genocidal intent of the Nazis, has left an indelible stain on Humanity.
It is a triumph of the Jewish people to have persevered , like many times before in their glorious history , to seek a better future - and also to give hope for a bright future .
Destiny has fulfilled the long held dream and realisation of a homeland for the Jewish people - as envisioned by Theodore Herzl who as the founder of modern Zionism , advocated and tirelessly persevered as a champion for the Jewish people worldwide in the late Nineteenth Century .
Herzl’s underlying goals were exemplified by his desire to give hope to all humanity, and the collective qualities and traditions of the Jewish people could serve as a “light unto all nations”
