Harrington Review
Harrington Review is published by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT).
In December 2024, the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust announced that Lord Harrington had accepted our invitation to conduct an independent governance review. This followed the reaction by some key stakeholders to inappropriate wording in our initial 2025 Commemorative Ceremony invitation. Our Honorary Officers felt it important to consider what went wrong and how to ensure it could not happen again. You can read the review here.
We welcome Lord Harrington’s report and thank him for his dedication and work on this important matter. HMDT’s trustees wish to ensure the full report is made available and are currently reviewing its findings and recommendations which they will discuss at their next meeting in May.
