Lessons that must never be forgotten

Every year, we bring people together to remember the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust and in other persecutions that followed. But remembrance is only the beginning.

Through our work, we help people learn the vital lessons of the past – about prejudice, hatred, and the cost of silence. By understanding these lessons, we can work together to build a safer, more compassionate society.

When a community comes together to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, it fosters understanding and connection. When a young person hears testimony  from the Holocaust, it can shape how they see prejudice and discrimination in the world today. When a survivor shares their experience with an audience, it inspires empathy and compassion. These moments matter, helping to ensure that history is never forgotten and that hatred in all its forms is challenged.
