Today, together with The National Holocaust Centre and Museum, we launched the new ORDINARY OBJECTS, EXTRAORDINARY JOURNEYS website at an online event attended by more than 150 people.

People came together across the UK to mark Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) 2024, culminating in the streaming of curated moments from the HMD 2024 UK Ceremony and the Light the Darkness national moment. Here we highlight just some of the ways Holocaust Memorial Day was marked this year.

Scotland’s national Holocaust Memorial Day event for 2014 took place on 27 January in Stirling’s Macrobert Arts Centre, with a diverse programme including survivor speeches, music and film; all centred on the theme of Journeys.
