10,000 activities marked HMD 2019
We are delighted to announce that more than 10,000 activities took place across the UK to mark Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) 2019, with 46% more individual organisations marking HMD compared to January 2018.

Students at Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio mark HMD 2019
Mark Woodward is an English Teacher at Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio, a Secondary School in Blackburn. His students marked HMD 2019 by completing the Postcard Project and writing poems based on the theme: Torn from home, which they read out in assemblies.

A prayer for Holocaust Memorial Day
To mark HMD 2020, Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and Senior Imam Qari Asim have come together and written a special prayer which is intended to be used by people of any faith at their HMD activity.
