A service of reflection and remembrance of the victims of the holocaust and of all genocides. The service starts at 10.45am and is scheduled to last for approximately 1 hour
This is a short multi faith service led by the Mayor in a local park with flag raising, candle lighting, laying of pebbles (in lieu of candles) and is open to anyone to attend.

I lit my candle and put it in the window where it shone a little light into a dark garden and a dark rural landscape. All I could do was to shine a little light into the darkness - it was something but not much!
