"Bridging Generations" is a Documentary Film Series that commemorates Holocaust Memorial Day 2026. It is coordinated by Dr Simone Gigliotti from the Holocaust Research Institute in the Department of History at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK.
Screening on Thursdays from 29 January to 12 February 2026, the selection of documentary films focus on the Holocaust in North Africa, the first deportations from Slovakia, and the pioneering work of psychiatrist and survivor, Dori Laub. The films redefine cinematic expression through animation, archives and diaries. Each screening will be followed by a Q&A with experts.
