Alsop High School - Friendship that survived the Death March: Manfred &

Students from Alsop High School, Liverpool will lead the schools presentation at the HMD Civic Service at Liverpool Town Hall.

The students will lay a wreath at the Liverpool Holocaust Memorial

Students who participated in the Lessons from Auschwitz initiative will speak as part of their presentation "Friendship that survived the Death March: The story of the late Manfred Goldberg BEM and Zigi Shipper BEM."

The presentation will also be delivered in school as part of the HMD commemoration on 27th January 2026.
