Help us reach the next generation of musical talent

Help us spread the word about our new music competition, HMD Harmony, and encourage emerging musicians and composers to take part.

HMD Harmony is open to musicians and composers aged 18–25, inviting them to create an original piece of music inspired by the Holocaust Memorial Day 2027 theme, ‘No Place for Prejudice’. The winning composition will be featured at the UK’s National Holocaust Memorial Day Ceremony on 27 January 2027.

We would be grateful for your help in sharing HMD Harmony with your networks and anyone you think may be interested in taking part.

Are you a musician or composer aged 18–25?

The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust is seeking an exceptional creator or group whose music will become part of the renowned UK National Holocaust Memorial Day Ceremony.

HMD Harmony is a national music competition inviting emerging musicians and composers aged 18–25 to create an original piece of music inspired by the Holocaust Memorial Day 2027 theme, ‘No Place for Prejudice’.

The winning composition will be featured in the National Ceremony on 27 January 2027, giving the winner the opportunity to share their music on a national stage.

Entries close at 9am on Monday 9 November 2026.
