Legacy Consultative Group

The Legacy Group’s members include survivors and refugees of the Holocaust, representatives of the second and third generations, and HMDT staff and trustees. It is currently chaired by Laura Marks OBE, Chair of HMDT, and Olivia Marks-Woldman, HMDT Chief Executive also sits on the group. It meets at least three times a year.

The Legacy Group advises HMDT at a governance level on various matters relating to our work. This has included the annual HMD theme, how HMDT sensitively commemorates both the Holocaust and more recent genocides, content for the UK Ceremony for HMD, and survivor involvement in specific projects and our work more widely. Members of the group also represent HMDT at events and champion our work.
