Watch UK National Ceremony

We are delighted to share a film bringing together key moments from the UK National Ceremony marking Holocaust Memorial Day 2026.

Watch UK National Ceremony

Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on 27 January, bringing people together to remember and reflect.  Each year we hold a UK National Ceremony, joined by survivors, political, faith and civic leaders and celebrities.

This year our UK National Ceremony took place at Sinfonia Smith Square in Westminster, London. Through survivor testimony, music, readings and prayers, the Ceremony commemorated the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions more murdered under Nazi persecution. It also reflected on where persecution led in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur, and reminded us that prejudice still continues today.

We are delighted to share a film bringing together key moments from the National Ceremony, offering an opportunity to watch, reflect and remember –  whether you were unable to join us on the day or would like to return to these moments of national remembrance.
