The Temple of Peace in Cardiff saw civic, faith and political leaders join communities from across Wales on 27 January to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) 2025.

We are inviting landmarks, buildings and community spaces across the UK to light up in purple for Holocaust Memorial Day at 8pm on Tuesday 27 January 2026, as part of our national Light the Darkness moment.

We are delighted to share a film bringing together key moments from the UK National Ceremony marking Holocaust Memorial Day 2026.

We hosted a Summer Tea fundraising event in Central London, bringing together Holocaust survivors, HMDT spokespeople and notable guests to support the charity’s vital work.
